Statista has released its State of Global Fertitility Report and it shows that over 90 countries in the world where populations are not growing independent of immigration. In this group are many nations from Europe, the Americas and Southeast Asia, the reasons given for  for the trend include greater access to contraception and more women being educated and heading to work.

To be clear, lowered birth trends are NEVER a good thing for a society, culture, or country. They are not good for a family either. Societies rely on new generations to serve important roles to keep society moving. When this breaks down, lots of problems occur - some of which we are already seeing in employment for example.

When we have a world where fertility rates are rising falling in wealthier parts of the world while staying constant or higher in the poorer areas, illegal immigration and economic problems will be the result.

The Western World should return to having more babies and prioritizing family over things as it used to.
