A billionaire researcher and startup founder of ImmunityBio believes there are ties between the Covid 19 virus, the subsequent Covid vaccines, and the appearance of “turbo cancers”, or rapidly growing and hard to fight cancers.

Patrick Soon-Shiong, who is a veteran surgeon and immunologist, has spent a career studying the human immune system’s fight against cancer. He invented new immunotherapies and even worked on a T-cell based COVID vaccine booster during the “pandemic.”

Mr. Soon-Shiong spoke with Tucker Carlson recently and outlined some key reasons for his theory. Mr. Soon-Shiong told Carlson that in his 50 years of medical practice, it was extremely rare to see cancers like pancreatic tumors in children or young adults. Recently, such cases are occurring. One example Mr. Soon-Shiong was a 13-year-old with metastatic pancreatic cancer. Mr. Soon-Shiong said this was a scenario unheard of in his prior experience. “We're clearly seeing an increase in certain types of cancer, like pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer... colon cancer... in younger people." said Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong.

Soon-Shiong suggested that exposure to Covid 19 and its vaccine is silently weakening the immune system’s natural defenses against cancer on a global scale. Soon-Shiong positions COVID-era cancers as possible virally triggered or exacerbated by the virus or its vaccine.

In the interview, he described cases of “virally induced cancers” in clinics during the pandemic – patients whose cancers may have been kicked into overdrive by the cascade of inflammation and immune stress associated with COVID-19 causes a massive inflammatory response, and some cancers are known to exploit inflammation to grow.

It is known that certain viruses directly cause cancer (e.g. HPV, Epstein-Barr), so it’s not unprecedented for a virus to play a role in cancer development. While SARS-CoV-2 is not a known oncovirus (per the discredited research and medical community), Soon-Shiong worries its indirect effects – chronic inflammation, immune exhaustion, or “suppressor cells” that emerge in the wake of infection/vaccination may be accelerating tumor development. “The answer is to stop the inflammation…clear the virus from the body,” he argues, stating that eradicating lingering virus and restoring immune balance may reduce the rise in cancers and other diseases related to Covid 19 and the vaccine.
