RFK Jr. met for the first time with the vaccine advisers to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to discuss the nation's vaccine policies. This is a two day meeting that was delayed, originally having been scheduled for February. The committee's advice helps influence health insurance decisions around vaccines and what is paid for for patients.

The advisory committee typically holds public meetings three times a year, which are live streamed online. Prior to the meeting, the CDC's usual flock of mindless "follow the science" paid-off researchers and vaccine advocates issued a slew of passive aggressive statements directed towards RFK Jr.'s doubts around vaccine effectiveness and curiosity about their role in causing a rise in disorders such as autism.

During this week's meeting, the committee's independent advisors will hear from CDC staff on a range of vaccines, including HPV, COVID and flu, and vote on recommendations for some of them such as RSV and the tropical mosquito-borne viral disease chikungunya.

Deep financial cuts to CDC staff have occurred since President Trump took office, including some officials who would have participated or spoken in this week's meeting.

Vaccine advocates, most commonly being rewarded in some way by Big Pharma or its allies, are concerned over potential changes in policy and official stances that may reduce confidence in vaccines.

Kennedy's doubts on vaccine safety has led him to cancel funding for research into vaccine hesitancy, angering many in the group. Hopefully, he continues to anger them by working to MAHA!
